FOXO4-DRI reconstitution calculator.

Research / preclinicalCommon vials: 10 mg

A 10 mg vial of FOXO4-DRI dissolved in 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 5,000 mcg per mL, which is 50 mcg per unit on a U-100 insulin syringe.

FOXO4-DRI has no human data of any kind, not even a registered trial, so unlike most compounds here there is no published amount anywhere to check your arithmetic against. It is sold as a single 10 mg vial, and its animal studies dosed mice by body weight through intraperitoneal injection, which gives no figure that applies to a person.

More water → lower concentration → more units for the same amount.

How much bacteriostatic water for a FOXO4-DRI vial?

There is no single correct volume. More water gives a weaker solution, so each unit on the syringe holds less FOXO4-DRI and a given amount takes more units to measure, which is easier to read on the syringe scale. Less water does the opposite. These tables show the concentration for each common vial size across the usual volumes. They are arithmetic, not a recommendation of how much to take.

How many units of FOXO4-DRI is a given amount?

Divide the amount in micrograms by the micrograms per unit for your mix. With a solution of 2,500 mcg per mL, one unit on a U-100 syringe holds 25 mcg, so any amount in mcg divided by 25 gives the units. The calculator above does this for you from your own vial and water, and the tables give the per-unit figure for each common mix.

Why does FOXO4-DRI need its own calculation?

  • 10 mg in 2 mL is 5,000 mcg/mL, which is 50 mcg per U-100 unit. In 5 mL it is 2,000 mcg/mL, or 20 mcg per unit.
  • It is built from D-amino acids in reversed sequence, a design that resists enzymatic breakdown. That changes how the molecule behaves in the body, not mass divided by volume.
  • A per-kilogram mouse figure is not a human amount, and the calculator has no way to make it one. The example on this page is arithmetic on a round number, nothing more.

How is FOXO4-DRI administered, and what does the math look like?

How FOXO4-DRI is actually administered, with the concentration arithmetic written out. Amounts in these tables are illustrative examples of the math, never a recommendation.

Senolytic research peptide; IP injection used in mouse studies, SC in human research contexts.

FOXO4-DRI is a senolytic peptide studied for selective clearance of senescent cells. Animal studies used intraperitoneal (IP) injection; human research contexts use subcutaneous. Sold as a 10 mg vial.

FOXO4-DRI reconstitution: common questions

Is there a reference amount for FOXO4-DRI?

No. All of the efficacy evidence is from cell culture and mouse models, and no human trial has been completed or registered. Any amount quoted for people is not drawn from human data.

What concentration does a 10 mg FOXO4-DRI vial give?

10,000 mcg/mL in 1 mL, 5,000 mcg/mL in 2 mL, and 2,000 mcg/mL in 5 mL, which is 100, 50, and 20 mcg per U-100 unit respectively. The peptide amount is the same in each; only the volume changes.

Is FOXO4-DRI approved?

No. It is not approved by the FDA or any major regulator and is sold only as a research-use-only chemical. The profile covers what the preclinical work does and does not establish.

What the evidence on FOXO4-DRI actually shows

Knowing the concentration is not the same as knowing whether to use it. These are the strongest studies behind the FOXO4-DRI profile, labelled with the study type PubMed itself assigns.

Before you use any of this

This page is arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not recommend an amount of FOXO4-DRI, and nothing here is medical advice. For what the published evidence actually supports, read the FOXO4-DRI profile, and for regulatory status see is FOXO4-DRI legal. Reviewed June 1, 2026.
