The app.
12 questionsWhat PepCue does on your phone, what it costs, and what it deliberately will not do.
What is PepCue?
PepCue is a free peptide and GLP-1 tracking app for iPhone and Android, paired with an evidence-first reference website. The app logs doses, schedules and reminders, injection sites, vials, and cost. The website grades compounds on the strength of the published human research behind them.
Is PepCue free?
Yes. The app is free to download on the App Store and Google Play, and the calculators and compound profiles on this website are free to use with no account. There is nothing to buy inside the reference site.
Which platforms is PepCue available on?
PepCue is published on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad, and on Google Play for Android. Both versions cover the same tracking features.
Do I need an account to use PepCue?
No. You can install the app and start logging doses without creating an account, because tracking data is stored on your device rather than on our servers. Signing in is optional and exists for account-level features.
Can PepCue track GLP-1 medications as well as research peptides?
Yes. The built-in library covers GLP-1 medications, research peptides, and TRT, and they can be tracked side by side on one timeline. Scheduled step-ups are supported, so a titration is recorded as a sequence rather than overwriting the previous amount.
Does PepCue tell me what dose to take?
No, and this is deliberate. PepCue contains no dose recommendations, no suggested starting amounts, and no prefilled numbers anywhere in the app or on the site. Every amount is one you entered after deciding it with a licensed provider.
Can PepCue remind me when a dose is due?
Yes. You set a schedule per compound, by weekday or on a fixed interval, and the app generates local reminders. Reminders are a convenience rather than a safety system, since an operating system can delay or suppress any notification.
Does PepCue track injection sites?
Yes. You tap a site on a body map when you log a dose, and the app shades recent sites and can advance the rotation for you. It records your pattern and scores how evenly sites are distributed; it does not advise where to inject.
Can I track vials, expiry dates, and cost?
Yes. You enter a vial's strength, diluent volume, price, and any expiry or beyond-use date, and each logged dose draws it down automatically. From that the app reports remaining doses, days of supply, and cost per dose, week, month, and year.
Can I produce a record to bring to my doctor?
Yes. PepCue generates a summary document covering the protocols you tracked, the doses you logged with dates and amounts, sites, symptoms with severities, and weight history for a date range you choose. It reports what you logged and contains no interpretation or recommendation.
Does PepCue work offline?
The tracking side works offline, because protocols, dose logs, inventory, and the calculators all run on the device. Features that reach a server, such as signing in or the in-app assistant, need a connection.
What happens to my data when I change phones?
Tracking data lives in an on-device database, so a new install starts empty unless your phone's own encrypted backup restores it. Take an export from Settings before wiping or trading in the old handset.
The calculators.
10 questionsFree, browser-based arithmetic on numbers you enter. No account, no defaults, no recommendations.
Are the PepCue calculators free?
Yes. Every calculator on this site is free and requires no account or sign-up. The numbers you type are processed in your browser and are not stored by us or attached to an identity.
What does the reconstitution calculator do?
It takes three numbers you enter, the vial strength, the volume of bacteriostatic water you added, and your target amount per dose, and returns the volume to draw expressed in U-100 syringe units. It also draws the result on a syringe illustration so the figure on screen matches the mark on the barrel.
How much bacteriostatic water should I add to a vial?
PepCue does not answer that, because it depends on the preparation and on guidance from whoever is supervising your protocol. The calculator works with whatever volume you choose and shows how that choice changes the size of the draw.
How many units are in 1 mL on a U-100 syringe?
One hundred. On a U-100 syringe, 100 units equals exactly 1 mL, so 10 units is 0.1 mL, 25 units is 0.25 mL, and 50 units is 0.5 mL.
What is the difference between a U-100 and a U-40 syringe?
The printed scale. On a U-100 syringe 100 units equals 1 mL, while on a U-40 syringe 40 units equals 1 mL, so the same numeric mark holds two and a half times the volume on a U-40 barrel. The two look similar, so check the scale printed on the syringe rather than its shape.
Does syringe capacity change what a unit means?
No. Insulin syringes are commonly 0.3 mL, 0.5 mL, and 1 mL, holding 30, 50, and 100 units, but all use the same U-100 scale. A smaller barrel simply spreads the same units over the same physical length, which makes small volumes easier to read accurately.
How do I convert micrograms to milligrams?
Divide by one thousand: 1,000 micrograms is 1 milligram, and 250 micrograms is 0.25 milligrams. This single decimal step is behind most tenfold errors in peptide arithmetic, because vial labels and target amounts are often written in different units.
Can I convert milligrams to international units?
Only when the substance is known, because an international unit measures biological activity rather than mass and the conversion factor is specific to the compound. For somatropin the widely used factor is roughly 3 IU per milligram, and that factor does not transfer to any other substance.
What does the blend calculator do?
It derives a separate concentration for each compound in a multi-compound vial from the shared diluent volume, then shows how much of every component a single draw delivers. It answers a measurement question only, and says nothing about whether the components are stable together or whether the combination has ever been studied.
Can a calculator tell me how long a reconstituted vial stays usable?
No. The vial longevity calculator works out how many doses are in a vial and what each one costs, which is arithmetic. Stability after reconstitution depends on the compound, diluent, temperature, light, and handling, and PepCue will not invent a figure for it.
The evidence library.
12 questionsHow compounds are graded, where the citations come from, and who pays for any of this.
How many compounds does PepCue cover?
The site carries 69 compound profiles, each graded on the strength of its published human evidence and each carrying its own citation list. Around 306 citations sit behind the corpus in total.
How does the S to F grading work?
Each compound is scored from zero to five on six independent axes: human evidence, preclinical depth, mechanism confidence, safety clarity, regulatory clarity, and practical relevance. Those are combined into a weighted score out of 100 and mapped to a letter, with human evidence carrying the most weight. The full model is published at /methodology rather than kept behind a black box.
Does an S tier mean a compound is safe?
No. The grade describes how strong the published evidence is, not whether a compound is safe or appropriate for any individual. Safety clarity is one input among six, and it measures how well a safety profile is known rather than how benign it is.
Does an F grade mean a peptide does not work?
No. An F usually means there is little or no controlled human evidence in either direction. PepCue treats unverified and disproven as different findings, because most claims about research peptides have simply never been tested.
Can a compound's popularity raise its grade?
Never. Popularity can only lower a grade, through a claim-risk penalty that applies when a compound is widely discussed but thinly evidenced. The gap between what is said about a compound and what has been shown is itself treated as a signal.
Where do the citations come from and are they checked?
Sources are peer-reviewed papers indexed in PubMed, FDA documents, and trial registry entries. Every identifier is checked against the live NCBI record by an automated audit that runs over the whole corpus, and anything that fails to resolve does not ship.
Does PepCue cite vendor pages, blogs, or podcasts?
No. Those may describe a claim worth examining but cannot support one. Any statistic that cannot be traced to a specific paper, regulatory document, or registry entry is left out rather than repeated.
Does PepCue rank or recommend suppliers?
No. There are no vendor rankings, no supplier leaderboards, and no affiliate codes anywhere on the site. The research-suppliers page teaches evaluation criteria instead of naming sources, because we cannot verify what we have not tested.
How is PepCue funded?
The app is free, and the site takes no affiliate commissions, no vendor sponsorship, and no payment for placement or coverage. Nothing on the site can be bought, which is the point: there is no commercial reason to shade a grade.
Who writes the compound profiles?
The reference site and the PepCue app are built by the same small team, and we state that link openly. Grades are governed by the published scoring model alone and are never adjusted to make the app or any product look better.
How often do grades change?
Grades move when the evidence moves: a published trial, a new approval, a failed endpoint, or a withdrawal. Content carries a reviewed date so you can see how current a page is.
What if PepCue gets something wrong?
Every page carries a link to flag an error, and corrections that point to a source are acted on. Email kam@pepcue.app if you would rather write to a person. We would rather be corrected than be wrong quietly.
Safety and compliance.
8 questionsWhat PepCue refuses to do, and what the labels on research material actually mean.
Does PepCue give medical advice?
No. PepCue is an educational and research reference and a record-keeping tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or dosing guidance, and it is not a substitute for a licensed provider who can examine you and order labs.
Will PepCue tell me which peptide to take for a goal?
No. Goal pages summarise what has and has not been studied for a given outcome, including where the honest answer is that nothing has been established. They stop short of recommending a compound, because that decision requires a clinician who knows your history.
What does research use only actually mean?
It is a statement about permitted sale: the seller declares that the material is supplied as a laboratory chemical and not intended for human use, which keeps it outside medicines regulation. It certifies nothing about identity, purity, sterility, or safety, and implies nothing about an appropriate dose.
Does a certificate of analysis prove a peptide is safe?
No. A certificate of analysis is a chemistry document reporting identity and purity for a sample at one point in time. It says nothing about sterility or endotoxins, it describes the tested batch rather than your vial, and it is only as reliable as the laboratory behind it.
Are research peptides legal?
It depends on the compound and the country, and legality of sale, possession, and use can differ within the same jurisdiction. Each compound profile shows its regulatory status alongside its evidence grade, and the regulatory page sets out the categories in more detail.
Are peptides banned in sport?
Many peptide hormones, growth factors, and their releasing agents appear on the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List, some of them at all times rather than only in competition. If you compete under an anti-doping code, check the current list directly, since it is revised annually.
Can PepCue interpret my symptoms or my lab results?
No. The app records symptoms with a severity and charts them over time, which makes a conversation with a clinician more concrete. It does not diagnose, interpret results, or suggest a change to anything.
Is PepCue intended for people under 18?
No. The app and site are intended for adults, and the content assumes an adult making decisions alongside a licensed provider.
Privacy and your data.
8 questionsWhere records are stored, what leaves the device, and how to get a copy or delete everything.
Where is my tracking data stored?
On your device. Protocols, dose logs, inventory, weights, check-ins, and calculator results are held in an on-device database and are not uploaded to our servers. That is also why a fresh install on a new phone starts empty.
What information does leave my device?
If you sign in, your account record and sign-in identifier are held by our authentication provider. Photos are stored in private per-user storage only if you use a feature that saves them, and in-app assistant messages are processed by a model provider to generate a reply.
Does PepCue send my dose logs to analytics?
No. Product analytics and crash diagnostics cover screen views, feature usage, performance, and errors. We do not intentionally send health entries, dose logs, symptoms, or body measurements into analytics.
Does PepCue sell my data?
No. We do not sell personal information, and there is no advertising business behind the app. The full list of processors and what each one receives is published in the privacy policy.
Can I export my data?
Yes. The app generates a summary document covering your protocols, logged doses, sites, symptoms, and weight history for a date range you choose. You can also email kam@pepcue.app to request a copy of any account-level information held on our servers.
How do I delete my account and data?
In the app, go to Settings, then Data, then Delete account and data, and confirm. You can also email kam@pepcue.app from the address on your account with the subject line Delete my account, and the request is processed within 30 days.
Does deleting my account cancel a subscription?
No. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and must be cancelled separately in your store account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel one either.
Does this website track me?
The site uses essential cookies and basic analytics, and does not use website cookies for cross-site behavioural advertising. Calculator inputs are processed in your browser and are not stored by us.
Email kam@pepcue.app. Corrections to the research are welcome and get acted on when they point to a source. The one thing we will never answer is what to take or how much.
