Ipamorelin reconstitution calculator.
Ipamorelin is a 5 mg or 10 mg vial with targets discussed in the low hundreds of micrograms, which puts the draw in the bottom of the syringe where reading errors are largest. Choosing the water volume is most of the job.
Reference range often cited for Ipamorelin: 200–300 mcg, shown for orientation only, not a recommendation. Enter your own target below. Read the evidence →
Each unit on a 100u · 1.0 mL syringe ≈ 25 mcg of this solution.
Show the math
More water → lower concentration → more units for the same amount.
What changes the math for Ipamorelin.
- 5 mg in 2 mL is 2,500 mcg/mL, so 200 mcg is 8 units. The same vial in 5 mL puts it at 20 units, which is markedly easier to read.
- Ipamorelin is frequently paired with CJC-1295 or Mod-GRF, and those come in 2 mg vials. Two different vial sizes mean two different concentrations, so the unit counts never match.
- A 5 mg vial holds a lot of 200 mcg draws, so the reconstituted stability window, rather than running out, is usually what ends the vial.

Most selective GHRP; commonly combined with a GHRH analog (CJC-1295) in the same injection.
Ipamorelin is sold as a 2 mg or 5 mg lyophilized vial. Reconstituting 2 mg with 2.0 mL BAC water gives 1,000 mcg/mL. Ipamorelin acts at the ghrelin/GHS-R1a receptor; when combined with CJC-1295 in the same syringe, both compounds are typically drawn into one injection.
Drawing ipamorelin and CJC-1295 no-DAC into the same syringe is standard practice in research contexts, since they are chemically compatible. Draw one first, then add the second to the same needle.
FAQ.
How many units is 200 mcg of ipamorelin?
On 5 mg in 2 mL (2,500 mcg/mL) it is 8 units. On 5 mg in 5 mL (1,000 mcg/mL) it is 20 units. Both deliver 200 mcg, so the choice is about readability.
Can I mix ipamorelin and CJC-1295 in one vial?
Combining them permanently fixes the ratio and stops you changing one without the other. Keeping separate vials and drawing both is why the blend calculator computes per-peptide units and a combined volume.
My draw is under 10 units. Is that a problem?
It is not wrong, but small volumes carry proportionally more measurement error, and a half unit misread is a much larger percentage of an 8 unit draw than of a 20 unit one. More water moves the reading up the barrel.
This page is arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not recommend an amount of Ipamorelin, and nothing here is medical advice. For what the published evidence actually supports, read the Ipamorelin profile, and for regulatory status see is Ipamorelin legal. Reviewed June 1, 2026.
