Epitalon reconstitution calculator.

Research / preclinicalCommon vials: 10, 50 mg

Epitalon vials range from 10 mg to 50 mg, and amounts are discussed in whole milligrams, so the same target can read as anything from a few units to most of the syringe depending on which vial you bought.

10 mg × 1000 = 10,000 mcg in the vial
2 mL × 100 = 200 U-100 units of liquid
10,000 mcg ÷ 200 units = 50 mcg per unit
250 mcg ÷ 50 mcg/unit = 5 units
5 units ÷ 100 = 0.05 mL
10,000 mcg ÷ 250 mcg = 40 draws per vial

What changes the math for Epitalon.

  • 10 mg in 2 mL is 5,000 mcg/mL, so 5 mg is 100 units, a full syringe. A 50 mg vial in 5 mL is 10,000 mcg/mL, where the same 5 mg is 50 units.
  • Epitalon is typically used in short courses rather than continuously, so doses per vial often exceeds what a single course needs.
  • The published literature is largely from one research group, which the compound profile flags. The arithmetic here is independent of that.

Epitalon: research formats

Choose the format you are researching to see route-specific notes.

Primary research format. Short tetrapeptide; highly water-soluble.

Epitalon is a short tetrapeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly) sold as a 10 mg or 50 mg vial. It is highly water-soluble and reconstitutes easily in BAC water. Reconstituting 10 mg with 2.0 mL BAC water gives 5,000 mcg/mL.

Example math: 10 mg vial + 2.0 mL BAC water (5,000 mcg/mL)

FAQ.

How many units is 5 mg of epitalon?

On 10 mg in 2 mL (5,000 mcg/mL) it is 100 units, the whole barrel. Less water raises the concentration and shrinks the draw, which is usually preferable at this scale.

Should I mix the whole 50 mg vial at once?

Once mixed, the reconstituted stability window starts for the entire vial. If a course uses a fraction of it, that window rather than the peptide is what limits you.

Is epitalon's evidence base solid?

It comes overwhelmingly from a single group, which is not the same as independent replication. The compound profile grades it on that basis.

This page is arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not recommend an amount of Epitalon, and nothing here is medical advice. For what the published evidence actually supports, read the Epitalon profile, and for regulatory status see is Epitalon legal. Reviewed June 1, 2026.
