Comparison

PepCue vs MeAgain.

MeAgain is built around the idea that a GLP-1 changes how you eat, and that the habits around the shot decide how the treatment goes. Its focus is protein, fiber and water, food logged by photo, voice or barcode, side effects seen against meals and timing, and an AI companion with a capybara mascot to keep you coming back. PepCue is not trying to do any of that. It records the protocol itself across several compounds, and grades the published evidence behind each one.

The short version
Pick PepCue if

You are tracking more than a GLP-1, you are working from vials and need reconstitution math, or you want the evidence behind each compound graded on a published model.

Pick MeAgain if

You are on a GLP-1, injected or in pill form, and what you want is help with protein, fiber, water and side effects day to day, with food logging that takes a photo instead of a spreadsheet. MeAgain is built for that, and PepCue logs no food at all.

How much of this we could verify

Checked against MeAgain's App Store listing and its website in October 2026, and their column comes from those sources. We have not printed prices, ratings or review counts, and we have not verified which features sit behind its premium subscription.

Side by side, verifiable rows only.

A cell is filled only where we could confirm the fact from public information. “Not verified” means we could not confirm it, not that the app lacks it.

What PepCue does differently.

MeAgain and PepCue disagree about what the unit of tracking is. For MeAgain it is the day: what you ate, how much protein and fiber, how much water, how you felt, and where the shot fell in all of it. For PepCue it is the compound: what it is, what concentration it was reconstituted to, which syringe units that came to, what it costs, and how strong the evidence behind it is. Both are coherent. They suit different people.

The compound view matters most when there is more than one compound or when doses come from a vial. A GLP-1 pen or pill needs no conversion. Research peptides arrive as powder measured in milligrams, are mixed with a volume of bacteriostatic water you choose, and are drawn in syringe units for a dose in micrograms, so a misplaced decimal is a tenfold error. PepCue's 9 calculators cover that arithmetic free in a browser with no account, and they compute on what you enter without suggesting anything.

The evidence layer is the other half. Every compound carries an S to F tier computed from six scored axes: human evidence, preclinical depth, mechanism confidence, safety clarity, regulatory clarity and practical relevance, with the model, thresholds and a worked example published. Across 69 profiles there are 306 cited sources, and a generated index of 274 unique PubMed records is re-resolved against live PubMed by an audit script in the repo. For the approved GLP-1s the human evidence is strong and the grade reflects it; the layer earns its keep on everything else.

Tracking data stays on your phone, nothing on the site is for sale, there are no affiliate codes or vendor rankings, and PepCue never tells anyone what to take or when to take it.

Where MeAgain is stronger.

MeAgain is better at the part of GLP-1 treatment that happens between shots, and that part is most of the week. Protein, fiber and water goals, food logged by snapping a photo or speaking, and a daily timeline that puts meals, medication, symptoms and activity together address the habits that shape how treatment goes. PepCue tracks weight and measurements but no food.

Side effects come with more context. MeAgain logs them with severity, and its site describes seeing them alongside dose timing, food, water and weight, which makes patterns such as nausea after a heavy meal visible. PepCue logs symptoms with a severity, but has no food data to set them against.

The companion and the engagement design are real advantages too. An AI companion to ask questions, a home screen widget and a journey card of progress photos are built to keep people logging, and consistency is what makes any tracker useful. MeAgain also covers oral GLP-1s as well as injections and syncs with Apple Health. PepCue has an in-app assistant and reads from Apple Health on iPhone, but no widget and no companion mascot.

FAQ.

Is MeAgain or PepCue better for Ozempic or Zepbound?

If a single GLP-1 is your whole protocol and you want help with eating, protein and side effects, MeAgain is built for exactly that. PepCue fits better if you track other compounds alongside it, work from vials, or want the evidence behind each compound graded. Neither app tells you what dose to take.

Does PepCue track food or protein?

No. PepCue tracks compounds, doses, injection sites, vials, cost, symptoms, weight and measurements. Food, protein, fiber and water are not tracked, so if nutrition is your focus, MeAgain covers ground PepCue does not.

Is MeAgain free?

MeAgain is free to download and sells a premium subscription in the app. We have not verified which features sit behind it, and we do not print its prices. PepCue is free to use, and a full protocol can be run without paying.

Does MeAgain track research peptides?

MeAgain describes itself as a GLP-1 tracker and lists GLP-1 medications, including compounded and oral versions. We have not seen it describe research peptide tracking, so we make no claim either way. PepCue tracks peptides, GLP-1 medications and TRT on one timeline.
