PepCue vs Dosefi.

Dosefi is a different kind of tracker from everything else on this list. It is built for the whole aesthetic routine: muscle relaxant injections, skin boosters, microneedling, chemical peels, laser hair removal, skincare and supplements, with peptides as one category among several. Treatments are mapped on face and body diagrams and tied to before and after photos. PepCue covers far less of that routine and goes much deeper on one part of it, grading the evidence behind each peptide on a published model.

The short version
Pick PepCue if

Your protocol is peptides, GLP-1 medications or TRT, and you want the evidence behind each compound graded and sourced, with tracking that costs nothing.

Pick Dosefi if

You want aesthetic treatments, skincare and peptides in one private record, with face maps for injection and microneedling points and photos attached to each session. Dosefi is built for that, and PepCue does not track aesthetic treatments at all.

How much of this we could verify

Checked against Dosefi's App Store listing and its website in October 2026, and their column comes from those sources. We have not printed prices, ratings or review counts.

Side by side, verifiable rows only.

A cell is filled only where we could confirm the fact from public information. “Not verified” means we could not confirm it, not that the app lacks it.

What PepCue does differently.

The split here is breadth of routine against depth of evidence. Dosefi treats peptides as one line in a wider aesthetic routine, next to injectables, boosters, peels and laser sessions. PepCue treats each peptide as the subject of a graded profile. If peptides are a small part of a skincare routine, the wider log is probably what you want. If peptides are the main event, the evidence behind them matters more.

Skin peptides show why. Several of the peptides people use for skin are profiled on PepCue alongside every other compound, and they are graded by the same rules. A compound can have convincing cell and animal work, a few small human studies of a topical form, and little or nothing on the way people actually use it. Every PepCue tier is computed from six scored axes: human evidence, preclinical depth, mechanism confidence, safety clarity, regulatory clarity and practical relevance, and practical relevance asks whether the outcome that was studied is the one people are chasing.

Behind the grades sit 306 cited sources across 69 profiles and a generated index of 274 unique PubMed records, re-resolved against live PubMed by an audit script in the repo. The model, its thresholds and a worked example are published on the methodology page, so a grade can be checked rather than trusted.

PepCue is free to use, with no subscription gate on logging, schedules or the calculators, and the 9 calculators also run in a browser with no account. It sells nothing, ranks no vendors, places no affiliate codes, and never tells anyone what to take.

Where Dosefi is stronger.

Dosefi covers a whole category PepCue does not touch. Muscle relaxant injections, skin boosters, microneedling, peels, laser hair removal and skincare routines all have a place in it, so someone whose peptides are part of a broader aesthetic routine can keep everything in one record. PepCue would hold only the peptide part.

The face and body maps are built for aesthetic work. Logging injection points, microneedling and laser areas on a face diagram, with before and after photos tied to the treatment, is a different and more visual job than rotating subcutaneous injection sites, and Dosefi is designed around it.

It also reaches further into the phone. Schedules sync to the native calendar on iOS and Android, and it connects to Apple Health or Health Connect for weight and sleep context, which PepCue matches on iPhone through Apple Health but not on Android. On privacy the two are close: Dosefi's App Store label reads Data Not Collected, and its site rules out advertising identifiers and data brokers.

Its inventory is more detailed in one useful respect. Vials can be recorded with batch details, which helps if you ever need to trace a reaction back to a specific lot when talking to a clinician. PepCue's inventory centres on strength, diluent volume, price and expiry, which is enough for the arithmetic but less for that kind of record.

FAQ.

Can PepCue track Botox, microneedling or skin boosters?

No. PepCue tracks peptides, GLP-1 medications and TRT. If aesthetic treatments are part of your routine, Dosefi is built to log them alongside peptides, and PepCue is not.

Does PepCue grade cosmetic peptides?

Yes. Cosmetic and skin peptides are profiled with the same S to F tier as every other compound, computed from a published six-axis model, with citations checked against PubMed. The grade describes the published evidence, not whether anyone should use the compound.

Is Dosefi free?

Dosefi is free to download and sells monthly and yearly subscriptions in the app. We do not print its prices. PepCue is free to use, and a full protocol can be run without paying.

Can I use both?

Yes. Dosefi for the aesthetic routine, and PepCue's free website for the evidence on the peptides in it. The PepCue library and calculators need no account.
