Getting started

Log your first dose.

The two-tap path from the Today screen, plus back-dating, editing, and why a skipped dose should be marked rather than deleted.

Logging is the point of the app, so the first one is deliberately short. Once a compound and a schedule exist, a dose is two taps away from the home screen.

The fast path.

  1. 01Open PepCue. The Today screen shows what is scheduled for the day.
  2. 02Tap the entry you are taking. The amount you configured is already filled in.
  3. 03Confirm the amount and the injection site, then log it.
  4. 04The entry is stamped with the time and appears on the calendar and in your history.

If you took something that was not on the schedule, add it manually and pick the compound yourself. PepCue does not require a dose to be scheduled before it can be recorded, and an unscheduled entry counts the same way in history, inventory, and cost totals.

Back-dating and editing.

Real life is messier than a calendar. If you log a day late, change the date and time on the entry before saving so the record keeps the time you actually took it rather than the time you typed it in. Existing entries can be edited or deleted from the history view, and an edit flows through to the numbers that depend on it, including remaining vial volume and cost per dose.

Skip, do not fake.

If you miss a dose, mark it skipped rather than deleting it or logging it anyway. A skipped entry is information. Adherence figures, estimated level curves, and the record you hand a clinician are only worth anything if they describe what actually happened. A log tidied up to look consistent is worse than no log at all, because it invites conclusions the data cannot support.

What each entry records.

  • The compound, the amount, and the units you entered
  • The date and time of the dose
  • The injection site, if you use site tracking
  • Any note or symptom you attach, with a severity if you set one
  • Which vial it came from, so inventory and cost stay accurate

None of this leaves your phone. Dose logs are held in an on-device database and are not uploaded to our servers.
