FAQ
What is the standard GLP-1 titration schedule?
Manufacturers escalate slowly to reduce side effects. Wegovy: 0.25 → 0.5 → 1.0 → 1.7 → 2.4 mg, four weeks each. Ozempic: 0.25 (initiation) → 0.5 → 1.0 → 2.0 mg. Mounjaro/Zepbound: 2.5 → 5 → 7.5 → 10 → 12.5 → 15 mg, increasing by 2.5 mg no sooner than every four weeks. These are the FDA-label schedules.
Is this medical advice?
No. It reproduces the manufacturer's published prescribing-information schedule and maps it to dates for reference. Your prescriber may direct a different plan, including staying on a step longer. Always follow your prescriber and the product label.
What if I can't tolerate a step?
The labels allow delaying escalation if a step isn't tolerated. This tool shows the standard timing only; it can't account for your individual situation — that's a conversation for your prescriber.
Which is the maintenance dose?
Wegovy's maintenance dose is 2.4 mg. For Ozempic and Mounjaro/Zepbound the maintenance dose is individualized within the labeled range; the schedule marks the maximum.
