BAC Water Calculator.
Pick a target concentration → how much water to add.
How it works.
Enter the vial and target
Type the vial size (mg) and the concentration you want in mcg per U-100 unit.
Get the water volume
The tool solves for the bacteriostatic-water volume that produces that concentration, plus the resulting mcg per mL.
Check it's measurable
Very small volumes are hard to measure and very large ones can exceed the vial. Adjust the target until the water volume is practical.
FAQ.
How much bacteriostatic water should I add to a vial?
There's no single right answer. More water lowers the concentration and vice versa. This tool lets you pick the mcg-per-unit concentration you want and tells you the water volume that produces it, so the choice and the math stay in your hands.
What if the water volume seems too small or too large?
Very small volumes are hard to measure accurately, and volumes larger than the vial won't fit. Adjust your target concentration until the resulting water volume is practical for your vial and syringe.
