Account & data

Exporting your data.

Take a provider-ready export before an appointment or a phone switch, and know what it does and does not include.

Your records should not be trapped in an app, and there are two moments when getting them out actually matters: before a clinical appointment, and before you change phones.

The provider export.

PepCue produces a summary document you can hand to a clinician or save for yourself. It covers the protocols you tracked, the doses you logged with their dates and amounts, injection sites, symptoms and notes with severities, and your weight and measurement history over the period you choose. It is generated on the device from your own records, so it reflects what you logged and nothing more.

Taking an export.

  1. 01Open Settings and find the export or share option.
  2. 02Choose the date range you want. For an appointment, the period since the last one is usually right.
  3. 03Generate the document and save or share it through the normal system sheet.
  4. 04Check it before you rely on it, particularly if you back-dated entries.

Before switching phones.

Because tracking data is stored on the device rather than on our servers, a new install starts empty unless your phone's own encrypted backup restores it. Take an export before wiping or trading in the old handset. This is worth doing even if you expect the backup to work, because a restore that silently fails is discovered at the worst time.

Data we hold on servers.

Separately from what is on your phone, you can ask for a copy of whatever account-level information we hold, such as your account record and any photos stored in private per-user storage. Email kam@pepcue.app from the address on your account. We verify the request, usually by confirming you control that address, and respond within the period the applicable law requires.

What an export is not.

It is a record of what you logged, not an interpretation of it. There is no assessment, no conclusion about whether anything worked, and no recommendation in it. Reading the record is the clinician's job, and the point of the export is to give them something specific to read instead of a recollection.
