Cost tracking.
Turn a vial price into cost per dose, week, month and year, including supplies, without the app ever comparing vendors for you.
Cost is the number most people avoid computing, which is exactly why it is worth having in front of you. PepCue derives it from figures you enter and shows it at several time horizons, because the same protocol can look trivial per dose and substantial per year.
What it needs from you.
- The price you paid for the vial
- The vial strength and, for reconstituted preparations, the diluent volume
- Your schedule and the amount you log per dose
From that, cost per dose is arithmetic: price divided by the number of doses the vial yields at the amount you are actually logging. Because it uses logged doses rather than planned ones, the figure reflects what happened, including the doses you skipped and the extra ones you did not plan.
Horizons.
The same protocol is shown per dose, per week, per month, and annualised. The annual figure is the one that changes behaviour, and it is also the one people are most often surprised by, because a modest weekly number compounds quietly across a year.
Supplies and shipping.
Syringes, bacteriostatic water, alcohol swabs, sharps disposal, and shipping are real costs. Either fold them into the vial price when you enter it, or keep them as separate inventory items so they show up in totals. A cost figure that counts only the compound understates the protocol, often by a noticeable margin for cheaper compounds bought in small quantities.
Currency and price changes.
Each vial carries the price you paid for that vial, so a price change between orders does not retroactively rewrite your history. Past doses keep the cost they actually had, and new vials pick up the new figure.
What cost tracking will not do.
PepCue does not compare vendors, rank suppliers, surface prices from anywhere, or suggest a cheaper source. It has no commercial relationship with anyone selling these compounds, and there is nothing to buy inside the app. Cost tracking is arithmetic on your own receipts and stops there.
