People arrive at thymosin beta-4 wanting the real molecule rather than whatever a TB-500 vial contains, which makes this a slightly different search: not a way out, but a way to something better defined. The evidence position is still limited. Full-length Tβ4 as RGN-259 completed Phase III trials in eye disease and has held orphan-drug designation, but it holds no marketing approval for any indication, and injectable material sold in the research market is unapproved. It is prohibited in sport at all times under WADA section S2. There is no approved actin-sequestering repair peptide to move to, so the alternatives below are category neighbors.
