Semax alternatives are searched mostly by people outside Russia. Inside it, Semax is a prescription drug on the country's List of Vital and Essential Drugs, used for ischemic stroke, transient ischemic attack, and cognitive disorders, with published clinical literature behind it. Outside it, Semax is not FDA-approved, is unscheduled in the US, is sold by online vendors as a research product, and is not approved or marketed in most countries.
